The 2022 Ford F-150 hybrid XLT has a host of features. Whether you are looking for a V8 engine or a hybrid powertrain, the truck is sure to meet your needs. Features like the BlueCruise hands-free highway helper, an In-vehicle computer, and a PowerBoost hybrid turbo V6 all add up to one impressive truck.

    3.5L V6

The 2022 Ford F-150 is the next big thing for truck buyers. Its hybrid powertrain will give it even more efficiency, while still allowing it to tow as much as 6,000 pounds. There are eight trim levels available in this truck, with each featuring a different fuel tank capacity. The most popular trim level is the XLT, with a fuel tank capacity of 25 gallons.

The 2020 Ford F-150 comes with six available engines, including a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 and a 5.0-liter V8. Both engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Both engines offer up to 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. All Ford trucks come with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and the hybrid model features an onboard generator.

The performance of the 2022 Ford F-150 depends on engine type and trim, as well as the driver’s preferences. The Ford 10-speed automatic transmission gives owners excellent control over acceleration and braking.

The 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 delivers 290 horsepower and 401 lb-ft. of torque. Its twin intercooled turbos and Ford port-fuel and direct-injection system help optimize power output throughout the powerband. A Ford EcoBoost(r) V6 delivers a superior level of responsiveness.

    In-vehicle desk

There is a new option on the 2022 Ford F-150 hybrid XLT, and it’s called an in-vehicle desk. While Ford could have made the desk shifter standard, they know many customers would prefer it. In this case, Ford will provide both. You’ll be able to customize your vehicle with the desk and the console shifter.

You can even convert the center console into a desk by ordering an optional in-vehicle desk. It’s convenient to fold down the shifter and the armrest so that you can work on your laptop. This option also comes with partitioned fold-flat storage for documents. Besides the desk, the in-vehicle desk also includes fold-down storage space and lockable storage.

    PowerBoost hybrid turbo V6

The Ford F-150 is a purpose-built giant with outstanding capability, efficiency, and versatility. Powered by the 3.5L PowerBoost hybrid turbo V6 engine, the F-150 offers a powerful lineup of options. Four engine configurations are available, with each providing a distinctive combination of power, efficiency, and capability. Here, Germain Ford of Beavercreek explains the differences between the engines.

The F-150’s range-topping PowerBoost hybrid powertrain combines a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 with a hybrid-compatible 10-speed automatic transmission. The combination delivers 430 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque. Both engines return twenty-five miles per gallon in 4×2 and twenty-four mpg in 4×4 configurations. In truck terms, these tiny differences in MPG add up to large savings.

The Ford F-150 is available with either a 3.7-liter or a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6. The base engine has 290 horsepower. The twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 is also available with a hybrid powertrain, while the new PowerBoost hybrid makes 430 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque.

The new hybrid engine is a half gas and half electric powertrain that helps the F-150 haul more efficiently than previous F-Series trucks. It also serves as a mobile generator when the truck is parked. The Ford F-150 is a popular pick among pickup trucks, and the PowerBoost hybrid turbo V6 engine is now available for pre-ordering online.

The new Ford F-150 is also equipped with a tow technology package that includes a 360-degree surround-view camera system and several towing technologies, such as Pro Trailer Backup Assist. In addition to towing capabilities, the F-150 can serve as a mobile generator, providing energy for tools and other equipment on the job site. It also comes with two 120-volt (20-amp outlets on the bed as standard, and one NEMA 240-volt (30-amp) socket in the cargo box.

    BlueCruise hands-free highway helper

The 2022 Ford F150 hybrid XLT offers a hands-free highway helper that pairs advanced lane-centering technology with adaptive cruise. The car can drive itself while you monitor it via a camera. If you look away, the BlueCruise system will take over. You can deactivate the system and continue to use the steering wheel, but this isn’t a complete replacement for human judgment.

This hands-free highway helper works in pre-qualified Hands-Free Blue Zones and automatically adjusts your lane position based on road conditions. The system can detect side traffic but isn’t fully autonomous. Ford says it plans to update its maps on a regular basis. This hands-free helper is a great addition to the 2022 Ford F 150 hybrid XLT, and we’ve seen it work wonders in reducing stress during long-distance road trips.

The system integrates with the Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (IACC), and offers drivers hands-free operation on highways with lane lines. Lane Centering works well on roads with lane lines. The system monitors the driver with a camera and is compatible with 130,000 miles of pre-qualified highways. The BlueCruise package also comes with lane-centering and pre-collision assist.

In addition to these features, the 2022 Ford F 150 hybrid XLT is also equipped with the latest version of the Ford Pass Connect app. The 3.5-liter turbo-V6 engine is capable of delivering excellent performance, but it returns great fuel efficiency. Its technology is also updated over-the-air. There’s even an app for you to download to your phone.

    3.5L V6 EcoBoost

The Ford F-150 is a purpose-built giant of capability, and the 2022 model comes with six engine options, including a hybrid. Each of these engines is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and they are each good for three hundred and twenty horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. The truck’s payload rating is a class-best three thousand three hundred and twenty pounds, and the hybrid powertrain is an excellent choice for drivers who need to carry more than just the occasional load.

The F-150 Limited package is the highest-trim model, and comes standard with most of the technology you’d expect from a luxury truck. The 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine comes with Ford’s exclusive Auto Start-Stop technology. Other notable features include a 10-speed automatic transmission, 4×2 wheel drive, and a plethora of standard safety features.

A well-built truck, the Ford F-150 is well-equipped and provides luxurious touches at the higher trim levels. It comes with a robust standard package, and a long list of options that let you customize it to suit your needs. It comes with more engine options, more cab and bed configurations, and similar warranty coverage to GM. Its price tag, however, may be a deterrent to you if you’re looking for the perfect truck.
