The Short Version
The 2027 F-150's biggest change is under the hood: a new 3.0L EcoBoost V6 (325 hp / 400 lb-ft) replaces the outgoing 2.7L EcoBoost as the volume upgrade engine. The 5.0L V8 is now available on King Ranch and Platinum for the first time. Tremor gets a new 400A base trim on the STX SuperCrew, and Raptor gets a new 800A base trim alongside the existing 801A, 802A, and supercharged Raptor R. Three new colors join the palette (Birch Sand, Neptune Blue, Wild Green), and a new Ford Security Package is available. Pricing starts at $38,043 (XL Regular Cab) plus destination; Tremor from $55,768, King Ranch from $61,547, Platinum from $64,328, Raptor from $70,120.

What's new for each trim
XL, STX & XLT
All three now offer the new 3.0L EcoBoost V6 in place of the outgoing 2.7L. STX gains the FX4 Off-Road Package as a new option. XLT's 302A equipment group now includes body-color bumpers standard (previously chrome) and Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0.
Tremor
New for 2027: a 400A base trim built on the STX SuperCrew 4x4, giving Tremor a lower entry point below the existing 602A-equivalent configuration.
Lariat
Gains a new Chrome Appearance Package option alongside the existing Black Appearance Package, available on 500A/501A/502A.
King Ranch & Platinum
The headline change: both now offer the 5.0L V8 as an alternative to the standard 3.5L EcoBoost, a first for these top trims.
Raptor
New 800A base trim joins the lineup below 801A and 802A, widening the entry point into the Raptor family below the supercharged Raptor R (803A).
