2027 Ford Super Duty: What’s New, Pricing, Colors & How to Order F-250, F-350 & F-450 in Kent, WA

Updated October 8, 2026 from Ford’s official 2027 Super Duty order guide (dated 09/17/26) and 2027 price lists.

The Short Version

The 2027 Super Duty isn’t a redesign — it’s a lineup simplification, and the engine bay is where it shows. Two engines remain: the 7.3L gas V8 (420 hp) is now standard on every trim, and the 6.7L High Output Power Stroke diesel (500 hp / 1,200 lb-ft) is optional everywhere and standard on F-450. The 6.8L gas and standard-output 6.7L diesel are gone. The Tremor Off-Road Package expands to XL and, for the first time, to 8-ft-box crew cabs on XLT through Platinum. A new Super Duty Carhartt Package and XL Off-Road 35” Tire Package debut, two new colors (Neptune Blue, Iconic Silver) replace two deleted ones, and 4x4 is standard from King Ranch up. Pricing starts at $46,125 (F-250 XL) plus $2,795 destination; F-350 from $47,430, F-450 from $63,990. Max ratings: 40,000-lb gooseneck towing (F-450) and 7,900-lb payload (F-350 DRW).

The 6.7L High Output Power Stroke diesel adds $12,495 on F-250 and F-350 (included on F-450). Regular Cab 8-ft = 142” wheelbase; SuperCab 6¾-ft = 148”; SuperCab 8-ft = 164”; Crew Cab 6¾-ft = 160”; Crew Cab 8-ft = 176”.

2027 Ford F-250 Super Duty

The volume pick of the lineup — single rear wheels, every cab and box, and the full XL-to-Platinum trim walk. If you tow a travel trailer, run a crew, or plow, this is the Super Duty most buyers end up in.

What it’s for

The F-250 is the daily-drivable heavy duty: a 10,000-lb GVWR truck (optional packages take it to 10,600 or 11,400 lbs, or fix it at 10,000/9,900 for registration needs) that still fits a driveway. It’s the only series offering the Pickup Box Delete for upfits, and the only one with the High-Capacity Axle Upgrade (535) — an 11.6” axle, higher GVWR, and higher GCWR, now orderable with the H.O. diesel.

Trims & engines

XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum (equipment group 600A/603A/608A/700A/703A). 7.3L gas V8 standard; 6.7L High Output Power Stroke optional ($12,495). From $46,125 (XL Regular Cab 4x2) to $79,815 (Platinum Crew Cab 8-ft) before options.

Key packages

Tremor Off-Road (now on XL with STX + Driver Assist), FX4, XL Off-Road 33” and 35” Tire Packages, STX Appearance, the new Carhartt Package on XLT, and Black Appearance on XLT/Lariat.

Diesel GCWR, 22,000-lb conventional, and 11,400-lb GVWR require the High-Capacity Axle Upgrade Package (535). Towing, payload, and GVWR are independent maximums and may not be achieved simultaneously.

2027 Ford F-350 Super Duty

The payload king and the most configurable Super Duty: single or dual rear wheels, every cab and box on SRW, and the same five-trim walk as F-250 — for about $1,300 more at each step.

SRW or DRW?

F-350 SRW drives like an F-250 but carries more — up to 12,400-lb GVWR and 4,857-lb payload — and offers every cab, box, and trim. F-350 DRW (Regular Cab and Crew Cab 8-ft only) is the slide-in-camper and gooseneck workhorse: 14,000-lb GVWR, up to 7,900 lbs of payload with the 7.3L gas, and dual-rear-wheel stability. XL Regular Cab 4x2 DRW can add the Gas Heavy-Duty Payload Package (68F, $295) to squeeze out more.

2027 Ford F-450 Super Duty

The maximum-towing pickup — and for 2027, the 500-hp High Output Power Stroke is standard equipment, not a $12,495 option. If your trailer starts with a 3 or a 4, start here.

What it’s for

The F-450 pickup pairs the H.O. diesel with commercial-grade hardware: dual rear wheels, 19.5” forged polished-aluminum wheels with 225/70R19.5 tires, a wider front track, and a standard 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Hitch Prep Package. The High-Capacity Gooseneck Tow Package (535) — a no-charge option on XL Regular Cab 4x2 — unlocks the headline number: 40,000 lbs of gooseneck towing at 48,000 lbs GCWR.

Trims & engines

Regular Cab 8-ft on XL and XLT, Crew Cab 8-ft on all five trims (670A/673A/678A/770A/773A); King Ranch and Platinum are 4x4-only. One engine: the standard 6.7L H.O. Power Stroke. From $63,990 (XL Regular Cab 4x2) to $97,985 (Platinum) — add the $7,000 Platinum Plus Package for the top of the whole Super Duty line.

Key packages

FX4 Off-Road (with 19.5” traction tires), Chrome, Platinum Plus, Camper and Snowplow/Camper, 35K 5th Wheel Hitch Kit (15K), and the Gooseneck Dual Hitch Kit (15E). Tremor is not offered on F-450.

2027 Engines, Transmissions & Towing Tech

Ford cut the Super Duty engine lineup from four to two. Here’s what’s under the hood for 2027 — and what happened to the engines that left.

7.3L V8 Gas — standard on every trim

420 hp @ 5,350 rpm • 445 lb-ft @ 4,250 rpm (Ford’s 2027 rating). 10.5:1 compression, port fuel injection, and a TorqShift 10-speed automatic — the TorqShift-G variant on F-250 and F-350 DRW gas trucks, with power take-off provision available on both. CNG/Propane Gaseous Engine Prep (hardened valves and seats) is now standard with this engine, and it’s the required engine for the Tremor and XL Off-Road 35” packages’ 4.30 electronic-locking axle.

6.7L High Output Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel

500 hp @ 2,600 rpm • 1,200 lb-ft @ 1,600 rpm. 15.8:1 compression, B20-capable, water-jacketed turbocharger, and standard engine exhaust braking, through the TorqShift 10-speed. $12,495 on F-250 and F-350; standard on every F-450. This is the engine behind every maximum tow rating on this page.

Looking for the 6.8L gas or the standard 6.7L Power Stroke?

Both are discontinued for 2027. Ford’s order guide deletes the 6.8L gas V8 and the standard-output 6.7L Power Stroke, making the 7.3L the sole gas engine and the High Output the sole diesel. If you want one of the deleted engines, ask us about remaining 2026 stock.

Towing technology

Every 2027 Super Duty includes a Built Ford Tough 2.5” hitch receiver, trailer sway control, Tow/Haul mode, a 7-/4-pin connector with relays, and a rear camera with dynamic hitch assist. Available: Pro Trailer Hitch Assist and Pro Trailer Backup Assist with Trailer Reverse Guidance (standard King Ranch/Platinum, in the Lariat Premium Package on Lariat), 360-Degree Camera with split view ($1,150; standard Lariat and up), Onboard Scales with Smart Hitch ($650, 4x4), BLIS with trailer coverage, PowerScope tow mirrors with LED spotlights, an integrated trailer brake controller with Smart Trailer Tow Connector ($300; included from XLT up), and a factory digital rearview mirror ($895, Lariat and up) for box-blocked sightlines.

Trucks over 8,500 lbs GVWR are not EPA fuel-economy rated, so Ford publishes no mpg figures for Super Duty. Driver-assist features supplement the driver and do not replace attention, judgment, and need to control the vehicle.

2027 Ford Super Duty FAQ

How much does the 2027 Ford F-250 cost?

From $46,125 (XL Regular Cab 4x2) plus $2,795 destination. XLT from $49,425, Lariat crew cab from $63,125, King Ranch from $78,725, Platinum from $79,615. 4x4 adds $2,800 on most configurations; the H.O. diesel adds $12,495. Full pricing table above.

Can I order a 2027 Super Duty now?

Yes — order banks are open and production is underway, with availability starting early September 2026 per Ford. We build your order to your exact spec and lock the price at order.

What changed on the 2027 Super Duty?

Two engines instead of four (7.3L gas standard everywhere; H.O. diesel optional, standard on F-450), Tremor expanded to XL and 8-ft crew cabs, new Carhartt and XL Off-Road 35” packages, two new colors, 4x4 standard from King Ranch up, and a handful of option changes. Full change table above.

What engines are available — and what happened to the 6.8L?

The 7.3L gas V8 (420 hp / 445 lb-ft) is standard on every trim, and the 6.7L High Output Power Stroke (500 hp / 1,200 lb-ft) is the sole diesel. The 6.8L gas and standard-output 6.7L Power Stroke are discontinued for 2027.

Which Super Duty can tow the most?

The F-450: up to 40,000 lbs gooseneck (Regular Cab 4x2 with the High-Capacity Gooseneck Tow Package), 35,000 lbs fifth-wheel, and 30,000 lbs conventional. F-350 DRW follows at 38,000 lbs gooseneck.

2027 F-350 vs. F-450 — which should I get?

F-350 for payload (up to 7,900 lbs DRW) and configuration choice, from $47,430. F-450 for maximum towing — the 500-hp diesel is standard, and it pulls up to 40,000 lbs gooseneck — from $63,990. If your trailer is under about 28,000 lbs, an F-350 DRW likely covers you for less money.

Is the 2027 Super Duty redesigned?

No. The body and interior carry over; Ford calls 2027 a simplified offering strategy. The news is the two-engine lineup, wider package availability, and new colors.

What are the 2027 colors?

Agate Black, Carbonized Gray, Oxford White, and new Iconic Silver at no charge; Neptune Blue and Race Red $395; Marsh Gray and Ruby Red $495; Glacier Gray and Star White Tri-Coats $995. Argon Blue and Avalanche are gone. Trim-by-trim chart above.

What is the Super Duty Carhartt Package?

A new $4,195 package for XLT Crew Cab SRW 4x4: Carhartt-themed seats, graphics, and floor mats, 20” wheels, LED lamps, off-road boards, and a Carhartt-logo spray-in bedliner. Available Fall 2026; $250 off when combined with XLT Premium.
