2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Price

Now that the Mustang Mach-E has made its debut, a lot of previously withheld information regarding the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E price has been released. Initial rumors suggested that the Mustang-inspired EV will be priced between $40,000 and $60,000, which would put it in direct competition with the Tesla Model Y, although it will be larger in size. In fact, it's closer to the Model X. It is now confirmed that the starting price for the Mustang Mach-E is $43,895 for the base Select trim. The 2021 Mach-E comes with 5 trim levels: Select, Premium, California Route 1, First Edition, GT. The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium starts at $50,600. The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E California Route 1 starts at $52,400 while the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E First Edition starts at $59,900. New Ford Mustang Mach-E Exterior

Previously, we only had some renderings and teaser images of the Mustang-inspired EV crossover. They showed an octagonal-shaped grille, like that of the Edge. We also see that it should come with black plastic fender flares. Now that the Mach-E has been revealed, we see that some concept images weren't too far off. We see a strong Mustang influence in the front end design with a rounded hexagonal grille shape that is similar to the Mustang but taller like other Ford SUVs. The 2021 Mach-E GT trim has the most unique grille bearing the most resemblance to a true Mustang with the grated interior design while other Mach-E trim levels have a slightly unique grille design as well.

Mach-E Crossover: Inspirations Gained from the Mustang

Before the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E release, it was tough to determine exactly what this Mustang-inspired EV crossover would look like. Still, we knew that the Mustang heritage would run deep through the design. This Mustang Mach-E electric car features a Coke-bottle shape, fastback roofline and slender, wide headlights. It might be a crossover, but it says muscle car just as good as the Mustang.

Very little was discussed about the Ford Mustang Mach-E interior prior to the L.A. Auto show debut. The interior setup has 2 big digital displays. A smaller horizontal display behind the steering wheel  and a notable, large touchscreen tablet in the center dashboard. We know that interior dimensions will be relative to the size of a Tesla Model X and is sure to be loaded with all the amenities. Seamless technology and a unique interior design really sets this Ford EV apart from the competition and even other Ford cars in the stable.

Ford Mach-E Battery & EV Range

We do know for sure that this Mustang-inspired EV crossover will have around 300 miles of electric range. At the minimum, the highest performance tuned Mach-E, the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, will still achieve 230 miles of range and is AWD only; 270 mile range for the Limited First Edition Mach-E; 300 mile range for all other Ford Mach-E trim levels. With just 10 minutes of charge, the Ford Mustang Mach-E will be able to gain 47 miles of range. It's clear to see that the automaker plans to make this new Ford electric car one of the top choices among EV vehicles. This comes in conjunction with the largest electric vehicle public charging network that Ford is rolling out. They plan to offer more than 12,000 charging locations with 35,000 charging plugs. That's more than any other automaker even Tesla.
