2020 Ford Mustang

At Bowen Scarff Ford, we are actively waiting for the 2020 Ford Mustang to arrive. Among the other exciting aspects of the new model year, we also expect the Shelby GT500 as the range-topping option. The new Ford models promise some exciting features. Let's take a look at what we know so far about the Ford Mustang 2020 lineup.

2020 Ford Mustang Release Date

Ford typically releases new Mustang models in the second or third quarter, so we expected to see the 2020 Ford Mustang by mid-August 2019. The 2020 Mustang will make a grand appearance soon, so stay tuned.

2020 Ford Mustang Price

We don't have exact pricing on the 2020 Ford Mustang lineup yet but expect it to be in line with the previous model. If it remains the same, the Mustang 2020 lineup starts at just around $25,000. The Bullitt Mustangs started at $47,000 for the 2019 model year, but the company is increasing that price by $1,200 for 2020. Of course, you will also pay more for the upcoming Shelby GT500.

2020 Mustang Expectations

The only major changes worth noting with the 2020 Ford Mustang will be some changes to the trim level equipment and the color selection. Of course, we also have the debut of the Shelby GT500, but other than that, we don't know about any major changes.

There are two body styles on the 2020 Ford Mustang including the two-door hardtop coupe and soft-top convertible.

2020 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500

Yes it's back, this time the 2020 Shelby Mustang GT500 price will start at $70,3005. According to Ford, the 2020 Shelby Mustang GT500 can hit 60 mph in three seconds or less. With speeds like this eleven seconds will result in a quarter-mile. Equipped with a supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 engine results in 625 lb torque and up to 760 horsepower. The 2020 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 also encompasses the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic for ultimate control and versatile feel. The 2020 Ford Shelby Mustang is unlike anything you've imagined. This isn't your standard Mustang GT, by any stretch. You can also add 20-inch carbon-fiber wheels and an adjustable carbon-fiber track wing, but don't expect a backseat. It was taken out to reduce weight.

2020 Ford Mustang Performance

The biggest performance for the 2020 Mustang lineup will come from the new Shelby GT500. The supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 will blow other muscle cars away.

2020 Ford Mustang Interior

We expect that most 2020 Mustang models will continue to have room for four people. If it's like the 2019 model year, it will also have 13.5-cubic feet of trunk room, which should hold two sets of golf clubs, one for you and another for a friend.
