KENT, WA – 15-time President Award winner Bowen Scarff Ford Lincoln Mercury of Kent, Washington, is once again partnering with 16-time Funny Car championship drag racing team John Force Racing the weekend of July 8-11, 2010, for an exciting promotion. Bowen Scarff Ford along with John Force Racing led by 14-time champion John Force and current points leader in the Full Throttle point standings will offer customers of Ford Lincoln Mercury a chance to test drive a new Ford vehicle which will enter them in a giveaway for two tickets to the NHRA event at Pacific Raceway and a VIP Meet and Greet opportunity with the professional Funny Car drivers of John Force Racing.

Last year we had a great promotion and this year we want to build on that momentum. John Force is just so well known and he runs a successful and class operation. It is a family run business just like ours,” said Mark Scarff, Bowen Scarff Ford Lincoln Mercury General Manager.
“We have been in business for over 50 years and John has been racing for over 30 years. John Force’s teams have won 16 Funny Car champions and we have won the Ford Presidents Award 15-times. Last year we were both looking to pick up another championship and we were successful. We are excited for Robert Hight the newest Funny Car champion and we are proud of all our employees who had a hand in our 15th Ford Presidents Award. John has his Funny Car Championships and we have the highest honor from Ford.”
In addition to John Force, who drives 310 mile-an-hour in a Ford Mustang Funny Car sponsored by Castrol GTX High Mileage on the pro drag racing tour, John Force Racing also features Robert Hight, driver of the Auto Club of Southern California Mustang, and Ashley Force Hood, driver of the Castrol GTX Ford Mustang.
